Aqua Adventurers

Overview: Improver 1 is designed to help young swimmers refine their stroke technique and build stamina, enabling them to swim longer distances confidently. This course focuses on achieving 10m and 15m swim distances and includes skill development for Swim England’s Water Skills 2 and 3 Awards.

By the end of the Improver 1 course, children will:
Be able to swim 10 meters and 15 meters using improved stroke techniques.

Swim 15 meters using Front Crawl and Backstroke.

Swim 25 meters using either Front Crawl or Breaststroke.
Swim 25 meters using Backstroke.

Prerequisites: Children must be able to confidently and efficiently swim 200 meters using Front Crawl, Backstroke, and Breaststroke. They must also be able to demonstrate Butterfly stroke for a distance of 10 meters.
Overview: The Advanced course is designed for experienced swimmers who are ready to take on greater challenges in endurance, technique, and water safety. Participants will work on swimming distances ranging from 400 meters to 1 mile, while refining all four strokes to a high standard. This course also includes comprehensive water safety training and achievement of advanced awards, preparing swimmers for competitive or recreational long-distance swimming. Additionally, participants will develop skills for other water sports, including racing drills, water polo, and synchronized swimming.
Learning Outcomes: By the end of the Advanced course, children will:
Swim distances up to 1 mile with proper technique and stamina.

Parent And Child
Our Adult and Child Swimming classes are designed to provide a nurturing and fun environment for babies and toddlers up to three years old, along with their parents or guardians. As part of the Swim England Duckling awards, children will work towards achieving key milestones in water safety, buoyancy, and movement. Rookie Lifeguard

Must be able to swim 25 meters using Front Crawl and Backstroke.
